Fleetwood Comic Con 2025: A Heroic Success!

On Sunday 20th July 2025, Fleetwood’s Marine Hall was transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity, imagination, and community spirit as we hosted our very first-ever Fleetwood Comic Con — and it was nothing short of spectacular.

From start to finish, the event was packed with energy, colour, and entertainment for all ages. Cosplayers brought the streets to life with dazzling costumes and infectious enthusiasm. Highlights included the ever-popular Cosplay Conga, a thrilling cosplay competition, group meet-ups, and a dedicated repair station that kept everyone’s creations looking sharp. Visitors took part in scavenger hunts, bingo, and a prop-making competition that showcased some truly jaw-dropping creativity. The main stage kept crowds entertained with cheesy dance tunes, a high-energy cosplay dance-off, engaging Q&A sessions on costume and prop making, Fleetwood’s own Cosplay Mask Singer, and a lively tug of war. Children gathered for story time while fans young and old soaked up the atmosphere.

Over in the Traders Hall, Comic Con vendors offered everything from collectibles to handcrafted goods, making it a treasure trove for pop culture fans. The Scare Zone added a darker thrill with its zombie apocalypse interactive walkthrough, horror props, and photo opportunities with creepy characters that were both terrifying and fun. Meanwhile, the Play Zone buzzed with activity. Families and fans designed superheroes at the art station, built creations with plastic bricks, and got stuck into retro video games, board games, miniature painting, fantasy gaming, a photography competition, and diamond art — offering hands-on fun at every turn.

Fleetwood Comic Con 2025 was completely free to attend and proudly run by volunteers — a not-for-profit celebration made possible by the passion of our local community.
