We\u2019re constantly on the lookout for more content to feed our growing database. What we don\u2019t want is mountains of advertising to spoil the website\u2019s user experience.<\/p>\n

Despite our best intentions, we may get things wrong from time to time so we encourage people to reach out and let us know if they\u2019ve found anything that needs putting right. If we haven\u2019t featured something that should be included, we\u2019d love to hear your suggestions. We even have a facility that allows you to upload images for existing or new posts. I\u2019ve been living on the Fylde coast, mostly Blackpool, for the last thirty-five years and have been continually been amazed by the discoveries I\u2019ve made within the town\u2019s vast cultural heritage. It\u2019s no wonder it was Europe\u2019s most popular attraction before all the cheap flights abroad became available. When the Showtown Museum<\/b><\/a> was announced, I could hardly wait to see it. To say the least, I wasn\u2019t disappointed, far from it. The standard of its presentation can\u2019t be faulted. It focusses on local show business history and does it in a bright, fun and colourful way that\u2019s in keeping with the town\u2019s relaxed, unprententious approach to entertainment. But as much as I was impressed with the museum, I was left wanting more. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.<\/p>\n

Since first coming here from the US, I\u2019ve run a design for print, web and video business called Deeper Blue<\/strong><\/a>, and have enjoyed enough success from local clients that I\u2019ve become proud to be here and felt compelled to share that experience with the rest of the world, or at least those nearby. If you\u2019re wondering what the motivation was, I\u2019m not entirely sure myself. If my objective was to purely generate revenue, I\u2019d have designed it like a newspaper or tourism website with space for ads above, below, to the sides and in between paragraphs. But all that clutter tends to make things difficult to read if not downright frustrating.
