Charlotte Hudders, an alumna of Rossall School (1999\u20132005), has built a dynamic international career as a costume and set designer, now based in Dubai. Her creative foundations were laid at Rossall School<\/strong><\/a>, where she formed lifelong friendships and immersed herself in the school\u2019s rich artistic environment. The Art and Design Block became her second home, and the support of inspiring teachers helped shape her confidence and direction as an emerging artist. Her years at the school were filled with vivid memories \u2014 from House Singing competitions and brisk games of Ross Hockey to festive dinners in the Hogwarts-like Dining Hall. Rossall\u2019s strong sense of community, along with opportunities to explore leadership, creativity and collaboration, had a lasting impact on her artistic development.<\/p>\n

After leaving Rossall, Charlotte went on to study Theatre and Performance Design at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). The training equipped her with the technical skills and creative versatility that now define her work. Today, she designs costumes, props, sets, and illustrations for high-profile clients and productions in Dubai, including Bloomingdale\u2019s, the Burj Al Arab, and large-scale events such as the opening of the Rugby Sevens. Her projects range from sketching initial concepts to hand-sewing intricate pieces, each assignment as varied and demanding as the next.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Charlotte grew up in a family of full of creativity. Her mother Sheryl<\/strong><\/a> is also a very talented artist and her father Mark<\/strong><\/a>, ran a business called Granthams in Blackpool and Preston selling printing, signage and art supplies. This business has morphed into an online business called Art Discount<\/strong><\/a> selling art supplies.<\/p>\n

Charlotte credits her Rossall education with giving her the broad grounding and imaginative freedom she needed to thrive in a competitive industry. The school encouraged her to develop her own voice, embrace challenges and pursue ambitious goals \u2014 qualities she carries into every creative endeavour.
\nFrom her early artistic experiments on the Fylde Coast to her current work in one of the world\u2019s most vibrant cultural hubs, Charlotte\u2019s story is a testament to how a strong creative foundation can spark a global career.<\/p>\n
