The group’s music ambitions were as high as Blackpool Tower itself, and they wrote some of their own songs. Originally, The She Trinity<\/em> was formed with Canadian members Robyn Yorke, Shelley Gillespie, and Sue Kirby. The British members later added Pauline Moran on bass and Marion “Rusty” Hill on keyboards. After several lineup changes, including the departure of Shelley and Sue, the band settled on a final 1967 configuration, which included Moran on bass, Robyn Yorke on drums, Eileen Woodman on keyboards, Barbara Thompson on saxophone, and Beryl Marsden as the lead vocalist. In 1970, the band disbanded after a final lineup shift with Swedish guitarist Inger Jonnsson joining before the group dissolved.<\/p>\n
