The statue of Charlie Cairoli was initially placed in Stanley Park<\/strong><\/a> in Blackpool to honour his contributions to the town’s entertainment scene. Charlie Cairoli was a legendary clown and performer closely linked with the Blackpool Tower Circus. Born in Italy in 1910, Cairoli began his career with his family’s circus troupe at a young age. He became famous for his unique mix of comedy, music, and mime, charming audiences across Europe. He started performing at the Blackpool Tower Circus in 1939 and continued as one of its main attractions for over 40 years, entertaining generations with his engaging and humorous acts.
